Age of Chivalry: Renaissance Festival 2023

,

Instead of staying at home, I decided to get out and experience something I haven’t done in a long time. I went to the Renaissance Festival in Las Vegas that was a three-day adventure. I only had the energy and motivation to go one day for three hours. The food was more expensive than the tickets and all I had was a potato, corn on the cob, and iced tea. I hardly visited any of the tents but saw a lot of different costumes from what people would wear during the Middle Ages to fairies and elves to knights and those that had a darker medieval tone. I would say the best part were seeing the costumes and the horses during the jousting. The belly dancers were cool to see minus the comments happening behind me. I walked quite a bit but surprisingly didn’t buy anything to remember the trip when I left. If I go next year, I won’t go around lunch time so I can actually see more of the artisans doing their work. By the time the jousting ended for the hour, I was ready to leave as it served its four-hour purpose. Enjoy the photos.
