If you are driving in a blizzard, keep your windows clear and use low beam headlights. Drive slowly with no sudden movements and take turns even slower. If there is ice, don’t brake hard because you will skid.
If you are stranded in the snow, move your vehicle off the road and put on your emergency lights. If you have flares use them or a bright colored shirt to tie on your car. Find shelter and don’t leave your car in case someone comes to help you.
