With Daniel Craig leaving as James Bond, the speculation of who will step in his shoes remains unknown. I finally finished watching all the James Bond movies so far. My favorite Bonds are Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan. My next favorite are Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton. The last are Daniel Craig and George Lazenby. The best villains in no particular order are Jaws (Richard Kiel), Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelson), Hugo Drax (Michael Lonsdale), Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Telly Savalas), Raoul Silva (Javier Bardem), and Elektra King (Sophie Marceau). The movies with Roger Moore as Bond are the most comedic ones. Moonraker is probably the cheesiest of them all. Sean Connery as Bond were the classiest. He had that charm that was lost a little bit with the other actors. I really liked the Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan as Bond. They were edgier and the women were more than just eye candy. I liked the Daniel Craig as Bond and he had equally powerful villains challenging him. They were more aggressive with Bond and he more recently made movies had the advantage of using better special effects and probably bigger budgets. The most offensive Bond movie was Live and Let Die and the worst Daniel Craig as Bond movie was Spectre. It’s hard to say which one is my favorite. Despite the good and bad in this franchise, I’m glad I took the time to watch all of them. I can’t wait until to see the next one.
