You might remember the actor playing Jack Reacher on an episode of New Girl or in Hunger Games: Catching Fire. His name is Alan Ritchson and while there are only two seasons of Reacher, the show deserves and will get another season based on him alone. Reacher is basically a show about kicking ass and taking names as a means to an end. The series is about retired military police officer and his continual quest to expose injustice and those responsible wherever he decides to go. The series is adapted by Lee Child novels and is rated TV-MA. Each episode is 50 minutes and while the first season involves death and small-town politics, the second season goes back to Reacher’s time in the military where those he worked with are in danger and needs to uncover the reasons why. The supporting cast will change in the seasons but the one character that will show up in season three will be Neagley, played by Maria Sten and maybe Dixon, played by Serinda Swan, if Reacher feels he’s missing something in his life besides his toothbrush. I’ve watched the second season already twice. It’s that great. It reminds me of 24 that I’ve seen three times already from the first episode to the last. If you like a show that gets to the point without much stopping along the way, this show is for you.
I rate Reacher FOUR FINGERS and ONE THUMB at 100%.
