I highly recommend anyone to watch this series especially the last episode that deals with aging and what a person actually experiences when they age through a simulation. If you have Hulu, you can quickly binge watch all the episodes before they leave and get sucked up by Disney+. The six episodes deal with how stress, shock, fasting, strength, memory, and acceptance affect a person’s longevity. Stress can take years off a person’s life as much as a poor diet and lack of exercising. Long-term effects of drug addiction can start to form early, middle, or late although much of it seems to be experienced later in life. The severity usually depends on what the person is addicted to and how long they were addicted. While these episodes include challenges most people would not do because of time and money and for the fact they are extreme, Chris Hemsworth does it for us. When it comes to certain physical tasks, too much muscle can be a negative as seen in the episode dealing with strength. Because of the average person’s relationship to food, few people want to fast for more than a day let alone a week or longer. I would say more important than fasting is the mind and body relationship. Being physically fit meaning you have some level of stamina helps keep your brain healthy as shown in episode five. The only thing I have in common with Chris Hemsworth is that I fasted for almost four days and that was enough for me and probably won’t be doing it ever again. I too suffered as he did through the process. We all have different limits to what we are willing to experience so by all means so if you want to try fasting, go ahead with adequate research beforehand. If you do fast, let me know how it went for you.

I rate Limitless FOUR FINGERS and ONE THUMB at 100%.
