Her arms were like feathers
beautiful colors with equal amount of strength
in between the greens and blues
Her legs were trees
young in maturity and waiting to be
reborn next year when the animals came
out of hibernation
Her hips were like two stones
both with tiny cracks on the sides
and they moved in unison without compensation
to the left or right
Her brain was like a small sized watermelon
strongly protected by the shell
but soft enough inside to adapt when alone
Her torso was like a slab of beef
ready to be preserved for a later time
and ready to be devoured by the unseen forces
Her feet were like new tennis shoes
safe and secure in the leather soles
with the regeneration of bones and veins
Her existence could not be put into words
not anymore because all body parts had changed
and nothing was leftover except dust
