When the red door opened, the bluest eyed child stood before Ezra.
Ezra was over six feet tall and had large hands with fingers stretching out like tentacles.
The child looked up. She smiled at Ezra.
She was not afraid of him and opened the door wider.
Little did Ezra know the girl with the blues eyes named Sera would come to be his greatest friend in his lifetime. She was someone that needed to be heard. Her ability to strip him down to his bare elements amazed and surprised him in secretive and silent ways.
He had fantasies of meeting someone different in his dreams.
She had great words to tell him, and Ezra was not willing to accept this truth. Her eyes never left Ezra’s face and never stopped smiling.
