I’ve decided to change this up a little bit instead of just listing the movies I’ve watched. While I’ve seen some of these in the theater, too much time has passed to do single reviews. Therefore, I’m adding them into this blog and including whether to WATCH IT or SKIP IT. I’m not responsible for experience gained or time wasted.

Companion (2025) is an R rated movie about how one incident can change everything among a group of friends on vacation. The running time is one hour and 37 minutes and directed by Drew Hancock. The movie stars Sophie Thatcher, Jack Quaid, and Lukas Gage.

DEFINITELY WATCH IT because it has all the great elements of what can go wrong with an AI girlfriend.

Heretic (2024) is an R rated movie about two women Mormon missionaries forced to survive a game played by a middle-aged man that likes blueberry pie. The running time is one hour and 51 minutes and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. The movie stars Hugh Grant, Sophie Thatcher, and Chloe East.

DEFINITELY WATCH IT because of the great dialogue among the characters.

The Substance (2024) is an R rated movie about a middle-aged fitness celebrity risking everything for a more youthful appearance. The running time is 2 hours and 21 minutes and directed by Coralie Fargeat. The movie stars Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley, and Dennis Quaid.

DEFINITELY WATCH IT because of the stylized production design and dichotomy between Sue and Elisabeth.

Bring Her Back (2025) is an R rated movie about a brother and sister realizing the terrifying things their new foster mother is doing. The running time is 1 hour and 44 minutes and directed by Danny and Michael Philippou. The movie stars Billy Barratt, Sally Hawkins, and Mischa Heywood.

WATCH IT because of the sinister portrayal of Grace by Sally Hawkins.

Long Legs (2024) is an R rated movie about an FBI agent with a skill set to help solve decade long murders. The running time is one hour and 41 minutes and directed by Osgood Perkins. The movie stars Blair Underwood, Maika Monroe, and Nicolas Cage.

MAYBE WATCH IT because of the story line but Nicolas Cage could’ve been utilized a little more.

Nosferatu (2024) is an R rated movie about a vampire’s connection a woman living in England. The running time is two hours and 12 minutes and directed by Robert Eggers. The movie stars Bill Skarsgård, Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

DEFINITELY WATCH IT because of the portrayal of Dracula by Bill Skarsgård and Willem Dafoe who can never do wrong.

28 Years Later (2025) is an R rated movie about group of survivors on a well-fortified island and what happens when a few leave the compound. The running time is one hour and 55 minutes and directed by Danny Boyle. The movie stars Harriet Taylor, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Rocco Haynes, Haley Flaherty, and Jodie Comer.

MAYBE WATCH IT because of the mutated alpha zombies that are killed.

Final Destination: Bloodlines (2025) is an R rated movie about a young woman saving her family from a curse. The running time is one hour and 50 minutes and directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B Stein. The movie stars Rya Kihlstedt, Kaitlyn Santa Juana, and Teo Briones.

WATCH IT because of how the family curse is unraveled and the butterfly effect theme.
