I’ve decided to change this up a little bit instead of just listing the movies I’ve watched. While I’ve seen some of these in the theater, too much time has passed to do single reviews. Therefore, I’m adding them into this blog and including whether to WATCH IT or SKIP IT. I’m not responsible for experience gained or time wasted.

The Naked Gun (2025) is a PG-13 rated movie about LA detective, Frank Drebin, Jr., working with his partner to solve a murder case and save the police department from closing. The running time is one hour and 25 minutes and directed by Akiva Schaffer. The movie stars Paul Walter Hauser, Liam Neeson, and Pamela Anderson

WATCH IT because of Pamela Anderson scat solo.

The Forgiven (2021) is an R rated movie about an accident altering the lives of a married couple in Morocco. The running time is one hour and 57 minutes and directed by David McSavage. The movies stars Jessica Chastain, Ralph Fiennes, Aissam Taamart, and Omar Ghazaoui.

MAYBE SKIP IT because some scenes could have been shortened.

The New Mutants (2020) is an PG-13 rated movie about five young mutants held in a secret facility and wanting to escape their past sins. The running time is one hour and 34 minutes and directed by Josh Boone. The movie stars Charlie Heaton, Maisie Williams, and Anya Taylor-Joy,

MAYBE SKIP IT because there should have been more fight scenes.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019) is a PG-13 rated movie about Jean Grey developing incredible powers that turn her into a Dark Phoenix and what the other X-Men will do to stop her. The running time is one hour and 57 minutes and directed by Simon Kinberg. The movie stars James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, and Sophie Turner.

MAYBE WATCH IT because of the fight scenes near the end of the movie.

Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre (2023) is an R rated movie about a spy called Orson Fortune that recruits a movie star to help him stop the sale of a new weapons technology. The running time is one hour and 54 minutes and directed by Guy Ritchie. The movie stars Jason Statham, Aubrey Plaza, Cary Elwes, Hugh Grant, Josh Harnett, and Eddie Marsan.

DEFINITELY WATCH IT because of the interaction of all the cast and the acting of Hugh Grant.

Black Bag (2025) is an R rated movie about an intelligence agent suspected of betraying the nation and her husband who must decide to be loyal to his marriage or his country. The running time is one hour and 33 minutes and directed by Steven Soderbergh. The movie stars Michael Fassbender, Gustaf Skarsgård, Cate Blanchett, Tom Burke, Marisa Abela, Regé-Jean Page, Naomie Harris, Kae Alexander, and Pierce Brosnan.

MAYBE WATCH IT because of the slow build up to the betrayal reveal at the end.

Atomic Blonde (2017) is an R rated movie about an undercover MI6 agent sent to Berlin during the Cold War to investigate the murder of a fellow agent. The running time is one hour and 55 minutes and directed by David Leitch. The movie stars Charlize Theron, James McAvoy, Eddie Marsan, Toby Jones, John Goodman, and Bill Skarsgård.

DEFINITELY WATCH IT because the story and fighting scenes with Charlize Theron.

I Saw the Light (2015) is an R rated movie about country singer Hank Williams and impact on American music. The running time is two hours and three minutes and directed by Marc Abraham. The movie stars Tom Hiddleston, Elizabeth Olsen, Cherry Jones, David Krumholtz, and Bradley Whitford.

MAYBE WATCH IT because of the portrayal of Tom Hiddleston as Hank Williams.

The Gentlemen (2019) is an R rated movie about an American expat trying to sell his marijuana empire in London and all the schemes to bring him down from his enemies. The running time is one hour and 53 minutes and directed by Guy Ritchie. The movie stars Michelle Dockery, Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Jeremy Strong, Lyne René, Colin Farrell, Henry Golding, Tom Wu, and Eddie Marsan.

DEFINITELY WATCH IT because of the great storytelling and the acting of the whole cast.
