First August, then September, and now October means Horror Movies
I’ve recently connected with a part of myself, long lost on both sides of my biological family, in terms of religious and spiritual concerns. This personal discovery has made me rethink the macabre and wicked, but not enough to make me forgo the enjoyment of watching horror movies. The dichotomy between good and evil and everything in between is what makes these stories great. It will never get old for me because it’s something I will contemplate for the rest of my life.
I will be watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre like I always do each year and R.I.P to Tobe Hooper. I will probably watch The Exorcist too. It’s been a while since I’ve seen Hellraiser so maybe I’ll get acquainted with the Cenobites again. I would like to mix it up a little bit this year and give a chance to movies I have yet to watch, new or old, but any Rob Zombie movie doesn’t apply. I gave up when I could hardly see the actors on the screen. Let me know if you have any other recommendations.
I have included an old picture of myself that legitimately creeped out a few of my friends when it was first shared on social media (obviously not to the public until now). It might creep you out as well, but I’ll use the same explanation as I did back then. This is what results when you put two creative people together who are bored around Halloween.
