canusaThe U.S. and Canadian border is the longest border in the world without military.  It is around 5,525 miles or 8,891 kilometers long.  The 13 states touching Canada is Alaska, Michigan, Maine, Minnesota, Montana, New York, Washington, North Dakota, Ohio, Vermont, New Hampshire, Idaho, and Pennsylvania.  The eight provinces touching the U.S. is Ontario, British Columbia, Yukon, Quebec, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Manitoba, and Alberta.

Captain Kirk Never said, ‘Beam me up Scotty’ in any Star Trek episode or movie.  The most interesting usage of the phrase is referring to getting high off of a mixture of cocaine and PCP.  I’ve never seen an episode of Star Trek but never say never.

Europeans blamed the tomato for their reason for getting sick.  They were thought to be poisonous and called the ‘poison apple.’  There are around 7,500 varieties of tomatoes, all in different colors, shapes, and sizes.  i haven’t tried too many varieties but garden tomatoes and grape tomatoes are the best.

The consensus is greeting cards are touched a lot by people before being bought.  It says on average 25 times that people touch the cards and envelopes.  That is why I always grab the card from the back.

Australia doesn’t have active volcanoes because it doesn’t have plate boundaries.  There is evidence that volcanoes did exist at some point on the continent in the past 60 million years.  Likewise the Australian continent has a few animals that doesn’t exist on any of the other continents.

Milk from cows is 101 degrees Fahrenheit when inside and shortly after when milked.  If you do drink milk, keep it in the refrigerator and don’t let it sit out on the counter for long because it’s more likely for pathogenic organisms to grow in it.
