“Before you can say ‘come and go,’ And breathe twice and cry ‘so, so,’…” I remember coming across the picture on the left, both originally published in Life Magazine and taken by photographer, Eliot Elisofon. I had gotten somewhere during high school. I’m not sure where because I didn’t subscribe to this magazine, but when
I grew up with parents who didn’t believe in cable. I was expected to do other things such as play outside, ride bikes, read books, and spend time at the cabin during the summers. One year my parents bought a Nintendo. I played it for a good year, if that, and never touched it again.
