The action, comedy, and crime movie starring Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) and a female cast ranging from Rihanna to Helena Bonham Carter.  Recently getting out of prison for a crime she definitely committed, she’s ready to go out in the world and live a low key life.  This is what she told the parole board and they believed her.  While in reality, this is what we want from parolees, for an entertaining movie we want something else.  Debbie seeks the help from a friend named Lou (Cate Blanchett) who likes vodka.  Since the Met Gala is coming up, they hatch a plan to steal a diamond necklace worth millions from Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway).  The only issue is they need more people.  Enter Amita (Mindy Kaling), Nine Ball (Rihanna), Rose Weil (Helena Bonham Carter), Constance Wong (Awkwafina), and Tammy (Sarah Paulson).  With the team in place, they have only a few weeks to perfect their plan.  The night of the Met Gala arrives including the 150 million dollar necklace on Daphne Kluger’s.  The team sets the plan in motion and not everything is what it seems.  Is it ever?  Not really, not even in real life.  Back in their spacious room which must cost a fortune since it’s in New York City, the last piece of the plan is revealed.  This is a perfect movie based on its pure entertainment value.

I rate Ocean’s 8 PERFECT with Four Fingers and One Thumb at 100%.
