Poem: Drink Me

Green with envy, I put you there,

to defrost and drink you later.

I do other things,

gobble my time, chomp away.

Night falls and it’s morning again,

unaware I left you there.

I begin my day, hammer away,

the weight of my life disappears.

Orange with no emergency, I go outside,

check on the weather.

I see the watered-down tri colored drink,

dark on the bottom and lighter on the top.

Two thirds of a perfect drink wasted,

completely melted and smelly too.
