Poem: Trickery

You skip and dance around as if a fool,

watch them from far away and snigger.

You are not the jester you claim,

looking into other’s lives they do not deserve.

You adjust harsh punishments,

forcing them to wither into little heaps.

You arrive to take the brilliance away,

knowing they have no mouths to protest.

You trick and scheme all around you,

spend time observing your unfriendly foes.
