It’s the Fourth of July today and here’s some photos from Resorts World in LV!
Instead of staying at home, I decided to get out and experience something I haven’t done in a long time. I went to the Renaissance Festival in Las Vegas that was a three-day adventure. I only had the energy and motivation to go one day for three hours. The food was more expensive than the
The last concert I went to was outside in the blazing heat with The All-American Rejects. I never got into this band meaning I didn’t buy any of their albums. I did recognize a few of their songs because I don’t live under a rock. The concert I went to last night was more comfortable
I went to a museum last weekend. I wasn’t able to see all of it and will have to go back to see the rest of it. I couldn’t have picked a better time to go. It was cooler out due to the Hurricane Hilary and the animals were more active and came out of
Since I’ve recovered from getting my second booster shot and didn’t get a fever but did have a sore arm and a raging headache, I decided to go see some holiday decorations and the views of Las Vegas valley one more time before I start my new job. Here are the photos in all their
Container Park was smaller than I thought although it was nice to get out of the house. I bought a few things including the chocolate bars below. Fremont Street is the more rundown part of LV especially when compared to LV strip. It’s not as bad as the Fashion District in LA but you still
I went to the Mob Museum again. The first floor had a new exhibit. I left there with more pictures than I thought I’d take. Here are some of them. I went to the speakeasy too for a non-alcoholic drink and pretzels. Overall it was a good time including the simulation.
The Neon Museum in Las Vegas and a few things from the store minus the magnets and books.
I finally made it to Resorts World on the LV Strip. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. The hotel and casino is definitely a work in progress, but what isn’t these days.
I needed to handle something on my day off for work and decided to take in the sights and maybe go on a few rides. Being a weekday, it wasn’t too busy on the strip. At least the rides weren’t. I did see a wide mixture of people as you do in any touristy city.
It’s been a while due to starting working again and feeling the full effects of the wind. I sometimes think Sin City should be called The Windy City or at least a sister city to Chicago. When I was driving on Friday my car moved from the sheer force of the wind on the highway.
