Shopping malls take up a lot of space around the world.  The largest shopping mall is the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. It is 2,869,000 square feet or 266,500 meters.  It has 555 stores and was built in 1992.

The first lawnmower was invented by Edwin Beard Budding in 1830 in England.  It was granted a British patent on August 31, 1830.

McDonald’s salads make up only 2 to 3% of their sales but sells more than 75 hamburgers every second and is the largest toy distributor in the world.

The blood in the shower scene in Psycho was chocolate syrup because it read better on black and white film.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone has been translated into 80 languages, sold more than 500 copies, made into a movie along with all the other books in the series, and is part of Universal Parks with The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

The word ‘planet’ is from the Greek word planēt meaning “wanderer” because planets moved while the stars remained still.
