You know when you make plans, big plans to you, and they fall through because the minute your three-day weekend starts, you feel sick. This led me to being cooped up in my bedroom, trying to sleep through my raging sore throat and massive headache with little appetite that all I could eat were popsicles and sips of water because it hurt so much to swallow. My mouth was dry, my lips, and my nose got so chapped from blowing it all day and night. I didn’t get much sleep since Thursday night to today. As I was waiting for my online doctor appointment to urgent care (still trying to get used to this concept) and can’t wait for my visit in a month where I see an actual doctor in person, the website gave different information some people might find repetitive. So, in part, I will provide it to you later. I’ve felt the crunch this year to blog, write, and other things especially when I’ve spent six days doing nothing but trying not to feel physical pain. You could say the only good thing that came out of this was my ability to catch up on some shows and think of some writing ideas that may or may not be good. Serious and humor combined in a book, anyone. Here’s to being sick, getting better, and hoping not to get sick for a long time.
