Trifecta #28
This trend seems to be more of a thing of the past although people still wear them. What I wouldn’t give to be young again with less responsibilities or maybe not. 55 years later the Olympics are in Tokyo again and remaining hopeful it isn’t postponed due to the spread of the Coronavirus.

Weekly Facts #9
What constituted the fashionable woman changed over time but cleavage remained a vital part of display and dress. In the 14th century, Western culture emphasized lower necklines and tight clothes. Corsets are still in use as well as taping and surgery in relation to cleavage. We all sneeze, some more forceful…

Last Three Documentaries I Watched
I decided to do this a little differently this time around. I’m not going to list all the behind the scenes people involved and focus more on the content of each documentary and my short thoughts on each one. Inequality for All (2013) is the first one I watched. It covers the former U.S. Labor…

Book Recommendation: The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump

Fisher “Delicate are the dynamics and nuanced are the judgments that may keep the world safe or plunge it into the abyss.” Publication Date: 2017 Publisher: Thomas Dunne Books Page Number: 360 Before I discuss this book, let me say despite a…

More You Know: Most and Least Narcissistic U.S. Presidents
When this narcissistic poll was conducted by the Association for Psychological Science and published online by Psychological Science, it was 2013 and President Barack Obama was in his second term and the U.S. was not on their edge of their seats to see who would replace him compared to 2015. Poem: Wrong Step
As if you slide down the hole, brown around you, then black and blacker still, the dirt no longer on your face, the rocks no longer bumping your forearms, the roots no longer hitting your hands, it dawns on you, you aren’t in control. Land on your feet or…

Weekly Facts #8
Since I never posted this when I should’ve, here are the facts for last week. The oldest recipe in existence is for beer. This doesn’t surprise me. In 1977 a 13 year old child found a tooth growing out of his left foot. I can believe this. In Britain’s 2001 census, 390,000 people listed ‘Jefi’…

Journal Entry Type #32: Sort of the Last Weekend in February
I haven’t forgotten about my blog. I spent Saturday watching how Nevada caucus would turn out. Bernie Sanders won with the most delegates, Joe Biden came in second although if he can catch up to Bernie remains to be seen. He has a tall mountain to climb, meaning South Carolina, and if he can come…

More You Know: Looking for a Different Job, Try This!
Let’s face it, we’ve all looked for that perfect job and again very few of us have that perfect job where we feel 100% positive about whatever job it might be. Most of us would rather be retired than working although there are probably a handful that like a routine and need to have a…

Journal Entry Type #31: Troubling or Not, I Am Still Here
I admit I’ve been struggling lately with my life, mainly my facial pressure and headaches, not to mention the ringing in my ears. Why I’ve been blowing my nose for two months straight now without having a major cold or flu is beyond me. It’s irritating to say the least. My arthritis is acting up…
